Fees

Important notice:

We are currently not accepting any applications for Spay/Neuter procedures or Vaccination requests for the remainder of 2024. We hope that you have a wonderful holiday season and thank you all for your continued support. Please check back for updates to our website.

Pet population control is the most important factor in improving the welfare and health of pets in our community. Spay/Neuter surgeries at the BC SPCA Kamloops Spay/Neuter Clinic are heavily discounted due to generous charitable donations.
Please note: The responsibility of caring for an animal comes with regular expenses. The following prices are approximate, depending on the service required. For additional information and prices not listed below, please contact us. *Prices are subject to change*

UPDATE: Due to the higher volume of missed surgeries (No Shows), The Kamloops Clinic will now be requiring a non-refundable deposit of $200 for all of our Canine Spay or Neuter Surgeries.
Once you have booked, we ask that you either drop in to the clinic or we will contact you 1 week prior to your scheduled surgery, where we can take your payment by phone.  If we are unable to reach you, you will be given 48 hours to call us back, otherwise we will open your appointment slot to another pet or pets.  These specific surgeries take up significantly more time and cost to our resources, so we are trying to ensure that everyone in the public has access to us in as timely a manner as possible. Please refer to our cancellations/no show policy here for more information.

Canine Spay/Neuter

Note: There will be a surcharge fee of $111 if your canine is obese or in heat, or $223 if found to be pregnant.  If your canine has been in heat within the last 8 weeks prior to your scheduled surgery, you must reschedule for another time. Please refer to our cancellation policy.
