  • Do you offer after-hours services?

We do NOT offer an after-hours vet line. We prioritize calls to our dedicated post-surgery line during the day, but this phone is not monitored after hours. If it is important for you to have access to after-hours care following your pet’s surgery, then you may prefer to have surgery performed at a full-service clinic.

  • Is my animal getting the same quality surgery they would get at a full-service clinic?

Yes! We pride ourselves on offering high quality animal care, surgery, anesthesia monitoring and pain control. However, we have limited staff available to answer the phones and emails, so it may take a few hours to respond to urgent requests and may take one business day to respond to minor concerns post-surgery. We do our best to prioritize these calls, but because our vets and techs are in surgery during the morning, we may not be able to respond to your questions until the afternoon. We understand you may prefer to have surgery performed at a full-service clinic with a veterinary team that may be able to respond to your questions more promptly.

  • Do you offer dental procedures?

We do not offer any dental procedures for the public. If we note dental issues such as retained baby teeth on intake exam, we will contact you prior to surgery and give you the option of pursuing the procedure at a full-service clinic where they may be able to address it at the time of spay/neuter. Please note that depending on the dental issue, a full-service clinic may not be able to accommodate this within one anesthetic procedure.

  • Do you offer cryptorchid (retained testicle) surgery?

Due to the variable time required for this procedure, we do not offer cryptorchid surgery.

  • Why do you limit your surgeries to under 45 kg and 2 years for dogs?

We can keep costs lower and be efficient by performing only routine spay and neuter procedures. Larger and older dogs have a higher risk of complications during and after surgery. While most complications are minor, they can slow our busy surgery day. We also do not offer after-hours care, so we feel that it is best to refer these animals to full-service clinics where their owners have access to a dedicated team to address any concerns.
