UPDATE: Due to the higher volume of missed surgeries (No Shows), The Kamloops Clinic will now be requiring a non-refundable deposit of $200 for all of our Canine Spay or Neuter Surgeries.
Once you have booked, we ask that you either drop in to the clinic or we will contact you 1 week prior to your scheduled surgery, where we can take your payment by phone. If we are unable to reach you, you will be given 48 hours to call us back, otherwise we will open your appointment slot to another pet or pets. These specific surgeries take up significantly more time and cost to our resources, so we are trying to ensure that everyone in the public has access to us in as timely a manner as possible.
Cancellation & No Show Policy
Our appointments are scheduled so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our Veterinary team. It is very important that you keep to your scheduled appointment and arrive on time.
For Surgeries:
For dog surgeries only, we will email you 1 week before to send important instructions. Take the deposit payment, and to remind you of your scheduled date. For all surgeries, we will contact you at the main number listed on your account the day before your scheduled appointment as the final confirmation of your booking.
For Vaccination Appointments:
We will contact you at the main number listed on your account the day before the appointment as your final confirmation of your booking.
If your schedule changes and you are unable to keep your appointment with us, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment, move your deposit (if applicable) to the new appointment time, and offer your vacated spot to another patient. Out of respect to our team and other clients, we ask for at least 24 business hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment (weekends and stat holidays are not counted as business hours).
Missing a scheduled appointment or cancelling/rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, will result in a No-Show or Cancellation fee (see below), which must be paid before we will book another appointment with you. If a deposit had been made, your deposit will be considered void, and you will be required to make a new deposit for any future surgery you may book.
